Getting Started

Drilling and Labeling Timber FrameOnce the final decisions are made and the planning is over, we cut, notch, drill and label your Timber Frame in our shop.
Laying out timbersWhen the frame arrives at your site, it is gently lowered down off the tail of our roll-off truck. Either on one of our metal skids that we take back after we erect the frame, or on a timber skid which you'll keep or utilize if we are not assisting in the assembly.
Timber framing joineryWe layout the timbers that have 1 inch offset drilled holes in the various joinery. We then pull this joinery tight with 1 1/8 prewaxed oak or walnut dowels.

These dowels are gradually tapered in order to drift the timbers extremely tight.

Framing3Builder pounding in pegs.We hope someday to add you to our list of satisfied customers, whether it is an entire job fully generated from ground breaking to final inspection, or just a foundation or a frame.

We are just as concerned to provide a good product at a good value.
